My boyfriend brought me the article from the PD on 2/15. I must say it tugged at my heart more than you know!! I have a 6 year old shepard mix (not as talented as Tucker for sure) and I was diagnosed with MS 8 yrs.ago See you on the 7th!! Can't wait....

I had a magnificant akida/shepard that suffered from DM. The use of some prescription meds (through U of Fla)and nutricuticals, I extended his time I strongly believe. I assume Tucker's parents have researched this but if not and for others, see http://neuro.vetmed.ufl.edu/neuro/DM_Web/DMofGS.htm for starters and extend the life of your loved one, I did. I am so sorry but thankful for your adoption.

I never drempt in a million years Tucker would be doing something so like this - I just wanted him to live out his final years warm, happy, and fed. Bless you for taking him into your hearts and home! He stole mine the minute he "surrendered" to me.
